Yuting Hou is a Research Fellow with the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities. Her research interests focus on four areas: Links between Transportation and Land Use/Urban Form; Transportation Planning and Policy (e.g., active mobility with relation to health issues; the economic impacts of transportation infrastructure; the application of real-time data in travel analysis); Urban and Regional Economics; GIS/Spatial Analysis. Her current work also relates to better understanding the spatial pattern, determinants and networking of innovation capacities across Chinese cities from different dimensions.

Before joining SUTD, she was a transportation modeller (intern) at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), and a graduate research assistant at the METRANS Transportation Center, University of Southern California in the US.
